JLL in Irvine represented J+R Group, an Orange County-based real estate investor and developer, in the $66 million acquisition of 1901 Main St., a 191,849-square-foot Class A office building in Irvine. JLL Executive Vice President Joe Bevan represented J+R Group in the acquisition. The seller, Piedmont Office Realty Trust Inc., was represented by Jeff Cole and Ed Hernandez of Cushman & Wakefield. JLL has been retained to handle property management at the building. Built in 2001, 1901 Main is located at the corner of Main Street and MacArthur Boulevard, immediately adjacent to John Wayne Airport and I-405. The building is 100 percent leased to three anchor tenants.
Daniel Tyner and Scott Hook of Coldwell Banker Commercial Alliance in Irvine have sold two free-standing properties in Baldwin Park. The 3,383-square-foot buildings, which sit on a 19,766-square-foot parcel, sold for $1.78 million to an undisclosed private investor. The property is located on Maine Avenue, a major corridor of Baldwin Park, with major national tenants like 7-Eleven, Dollar Tree, Chase Bank and CVS Pharmacy.
Ninety-Six, a three-story office building at 96 Corporate Park in Irvine, has completed an eight-month, $4 million renovation. The 41,545-square-foot office building is now a “lifestyle workspace” or “creative office space.” The building is owned and managed by Kelemen Caamano Investments. The company has renovated five properties since 2015 and has four undergoing renovations in Orange County.

With more than 13 years of experience in real estate, Stewart comes to the Saywitz Co. with an extensive background in property management, leasing and tenant relations. Mason-McDuffie Mortgage branch managers Suzy Dukelow (Irvine) and Timothy Hurlbut (Balboa Island) were named to the firm’s President’s Club by President and CEO Marilyn Richardson at the annual Lake Tahoe conference.

R.D. Olson Construction’s 2016 PCRF Charity Golf Tournament raised more than $60,000 for the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation. The April 25 event was held at Oak Creek Golf Club and was the general contractor firm’s seventh annual charity golf tournament.
