Powers Brown Architecture has leased 11,637 square feet in the Central Square redevelopment at 2100 Travis in Midtown. The 280,000-square-foot building spans a city block. David Baker and Evelyn Ward of Transwestern represented the landlord, Claremont Properties.
SEARCH Homeless Services is relocating to a new 27,105-square-foot Employment Services and Care Hub at 2015 Congress, east of downtown. Studio RED Architects, Arch-Con Corp. and Forney Construction contributed to the facility, which has a chapel, counseling rooms, training rooms, administrative offices and an open terrace. Green Mountain Energy Sun Club donated energy-saving features.
Ampelmann Holdings has leased 3,129 square feet at 11757 Katy Freeway. John Amini of JLL represented the tenant. Michele Ellis-Felder of Gemini Rosemont Commercial Real Estate represented the landlord.
The Smith Law Firm has relocated to 550 Westcott Street, where it shares a 9,500-square-foot space with the law firm of Law Feehan Adams. Cushman & Wakefield represented the firm. Moody Rambin represented the landlord.
Techniweld, a welding equipment and safety supplies company, has leased 19,200 square feet at 5910 West by Northwest Blvd. David Buescher of represented the tenant. John Kruse with Holt Lunsford Commercial represented the landlord, Buckhead Houston Industrial Portfolio.
